Jeff Daukas is the founder and owner of The Hammerstone Group — a leadership and communications company built on one mission: to equip people to communicate effectively, lead boldly, and leave a legacy for others to follow.

For 25 years, Jeff has served in law enforcement — not just managing calls, but carrying people. Officers in crisis. Families in chaos. Communities at their worst moments. That work shaped everything he builds.

Outside the badge, Jeff serves as a church elder at CrossTrain Church, Regional Representative for Mission First Alliance — connecting churches, chaplains, and first responders through Christian faith — and as an Executive Board Member of the Friends of the Peoria Public Library.

The Hammerstone Group is the umbrella for three expressions of that mission. Hammerstone Press is the publishing arm — beginning with Stories for the Journey, a 90-day family devotional releasing November 1, 2026. SpeechWriters Lab (speechwriterslab.com) is a public speaking certification platform built for leaders who need to communicate with clarity and confidence. And Jeff’s consulting and speaking work equips organizations and churches to lead with intention and leave something worth inheriting.

His conviction is simple: the most important leadership you will ever do happens at home, in the organization you’re responsible for, and in the community you serve — and it is worth everything it costs you.
